A few days ago, one of the editorials, shot by Mario Sorrenti, for the latest issue of French Vogue surfaced. The Finnish model Suvi Koponen, who seems to be becoming a favorite of editor-in-chief Emmanuelle Alt, is featured with exotic make-up.
The editorial's ethnic vibe was clearly inspired by the previous issue's trip to Peru, though other non-Western cultures are emulated.
I think this editorial would have been better if a model of color was used, or at least someone with darker skin. The colors used here, especially the blues, would have really popped against someone with Joan Small or Juanita Burga Cervera's skin tone.
